Presidio Tunnel Tops Benches
Three sculptural benches carved from fallen cypress trees. I assisted in the trial assembly in the shop and was responsible for removing dry rot and pouring epoxy into those areas. I needed to pour a thin epoxy into cavities on rounded, sloping surfaces so I created a tape pocket to contain the epoxy but that still left enough room to overfill the cavity in order to sand it down. Designed by Field Operations, 2022.

Save The Redwoods Donor Marker
Sculpture made from cold rolled mild steel. Donors names were etched into steel panels, patinated with a black patina and sealed with lacquer. The panels were rolled into their final form where I accelerated the rusting process and then sealed it again with lacquer. I painted the details on the front and back and the powder coated lid went on top. Portola Redwoods State Park, La Honda, CA, through Save The Redwoods League, 2023.
